چکیده
This study presents the diversity and structure of pelagic zooplankton in north-eastern Poland. The research was conducted 47 lakes with different trophic conditions middle summer. Samples were collected close to deepest part avoid diverse benthic littoral zones. We found 119 species which 32 Cladocera, 16 Cyclopoida, 4 Calanoida, 67 Rotifera. determined occurred most frequently region, as well that characteristic conditions. also recorded presence eight cold-adapted some them are considered glacial relicts (e.g., Eurytemora lacustris, Heterocope appendiculata, Cyclops lacustris). Our revealed potential refugia for planktonic 14 NE suggests stenotherm may be an excellent indicator ecological status deep could lake monitoring programs. Furthermore, we did not find Bythotrephes longimanus has been reported from Instead, B. brevimanus common representative genus area.

Effect of metalimnetic gradient on phytoplankton and zooplankton (Rotifera, Crustacea) communities in different trophic conditions
Theory predicts and recent study revealed that depth of the thermocline can strongly influence the nutrient availability and composition of plankton communities. We are focused on the effect of metalimnetic gradients on water chemistry and plankton communities in three stratified lakes with different trophic conditions. Vertical changes in water chemistry revealed significant increase of macroe...

in current study, 63 samples of bat populations collected from differ regions were used for evaluating the geographic variations. twenty cranial and dental characters for traditional morphometric and landmarks method on the ventral, dorsal skull and mandible for geometry morphometric studies were used. statistical analyses of traditional morphometric and geometry morphometric data indicated low...
Impacts of hypoxia on the structure and processes in pelagic communities (zooplankton, macro-invertebrates and fish)
Dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration in the water column is an environmental parameter that is crucial for the successful development of many pelagic organisms. Hypoxia tolerance and threshold values are speciesand stagespecific and can vary enormously. While some fish species may suffer from oxygen values of less than 3 mL O2 L−1 through impacted growth, development and behaviour, other organis...
متن کاملZooplankton community structure of two marginal lakes of the River Cuiabá (Mato Grosso, Brazil) with analysis of Rotifera and Cladocera diversity.
In the present study, two small lakes on the margins of the River Cuiabá were analyzed regarding taxonomic composition and population densities of the zooplankton. Diversity was evaluated for two groups, Rotifera and Cladocera; sampling was carried out on two dates: 2 March 1999, in the rainy season, and 25 August 1999, in the dry season. Seventy-nine rotifer taxa, 30 cladoceran taxa, and 6 cop...

in fact this study is concerned with the relationship between the variation in thematice structure and the comprehension of spoken language. so the study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any relationship between thematic structure and the comprehension of spoken language? 2. which of the themes would have greated thematic force and be easier for the subjects to comprehend? accord...
